The Fireplace Roadhouse is a traditional roadhouse that first opened its doors in 1958. Since inception, we have prided ourselves in serving high quality food at affordable prices, in an atmosphere that is almost impossible to replicate.

In 1958, a lady named Sylvia Kongos opened the Fireplace Roadhouse in Boksburg. In 1981 Manuel Neto bought the business and worked tirelessly to grow it into a roadhouse of choice in the rapidly growing mining town. From humble beginnings, Manuel went on to successfully open another 3 branches in the proceeding years. Since then, each branch has stayed within the family and the Fireplace Roadhouse has flourished into a successful franchise.
We have always believed that the secret to success will always remain the same: making good quality food for young and old alike, and ensuring the customer always receives outstanding service.
